WP Toolkit - Enabling Smart Update and Auto Update Print

  • 0

Enabling Auto-Update and Smart Update in cPanel's WP Toolkit can streamline WordPress site maintenance and enhance security. With Auto-Update, WordPress, themes, and plugins automatically update to the latest versions, ensuring your site stays secure and optimized without manual intervention. Smart Update goes a step further by simulating updates in a safe, cloned environment first. It then checks for potential issues, like plugin conflicts or broken elements, and only applies the update if everything runs smoothly. Together, these features help keep your site up-to-date and minimize downtime or unexpected issues from updates.

Note: Although these systems work to minimize any issues with your site, it’s always a good idea to routinely check your site to ensure everything is running smoothly.
