These instructions assume that you have an HTML file that contains the email signature you wish to install.
- Open the HTML file or click the web page address you were given so that the email signature displays in a web browser. Press the keyboard shortcut CTRL+A to select all, then press CTRL+C to copy everything to the clipboard.
- Open Outlook, click New Email to compose a new message, then go to the Message tab, click the "Signature" button, and then click "Signatures..." down the bottom.
- In the popup that appears, under the E-mail Signature tab, click the "New" button. Type a name for the signature, and then click OK.
- Click in the "Edit signature" box, create your signature by pasting in the copied design (Control-V).
- To resolve an Outlook issue where it sometimes upscales images, right-click each image in the signature and choose Picture, then click the Size tab, and click the Reset button. This will change the scaling to 100%. Then click OK. Repeat for any other image.
- Under the "Choose default signature" heading, select each email account for which you want this email signature to be included by default, then choose the signature you created under both "New messages" and "Replies/forwards". Or, skip this step if you want to manually choose when you include the signature for each email you compose.
- Click OK
- Now, compose a new email, make sure the signature appears, and send a test email to yourself to ensure it appears okay.
