Seeding your inital backup offers the ablity to backup the bulk of your data with out having to wait for it to upload over the internet which in most cases can be alot faster special for backup sets which are over 50GB.
Please Note that this is only for inital backup only as it will over write any data current previously hosted on our servers.
Seeding is the same as backing up to an external drive connected to your computer. It is a good idea to continue to backup to this drive after the seed has been complete as well.

How to Seed your first backup.

  1. Make sure computer is on and external drive is connected.
  2. Start the "Online Data Storeage" Software
  3. Go to Destinations
  4. Click the Folders tab
  5. Click Select and Choose the External Drive as your backup location
  6. Click Start backup
  7. Wait for it to be complete.

Once finished eject the External Drive and carefull package it up (please include any USB and power connectors it uses).

Send or drop it into our office
