Update credit cards details Print

  • 0

You can securely store one or more credit cards on your account, and have invoices automatically paid by that credit card.

Adding a Credit Card

Here's how you can set up automatic credit card payments:

  1. Login to our Client Area (if you are not sure how to do this, click here for help).
  2. Go to Billing > Payment Methods and click Add a New Credit Card
  3. Each individual service can have a different payment method, and some may be set to Bank Transfer. If you would like all future invoices to automatically charge your card, click here to update your account details and change the Payment Method to Credit Card. This will update all services at once. Alternatively, you can choose exactly which services should use which payment method by updating each service individually.

Alternatively, just give us a call, and we can update these details for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my credit card details secure?
Yes. When you add a credit card to our Client Area, your card details are securely stored by our payment processor, not by us.

Can I review the invoice before payment takes place?
Yes. You will always receive an invoice by email first so you have an opportunity to review it first. Your credit card will only be charged on the due date of the invoice. If you are unsure about an invoice and don't want us to charge your card until you've had a chance to review it in more detail, you can change the payment method of that invoice to Bank Transfer through our Client Area, or just email us and we can change it for you.

What card schemes do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Do you charge fees for credit card payments?
No; we do not apply any surcharge for paying by credit card.

What happens if a payment is declined?
If an invoice is set to be paid by credit card, and the payment does not go through, our system will try again automatically in a week's time. Alternatively, you can login to our Client Area, view the invoice, and re-attempt the payment right away.

How will I know when my credit card expires and needs updating?
You will receive an email from us letting you know that your credit card is about to expire, so you can login and update it before the next payment attempt.

Can I make multiple payments against a single large invoice?
Yes; see our guide on making a part payment by credit card.
