It's important to note: this is a NEW account set-up process
- Open Entourage.
- In the First name field, type your first name.
- In the Last name field, type your last name.
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
Pages 2 and 3 can be left blank or filled out, at your discretion.
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
- Click the I want to start using Entourage without importing anything radio button in the What do you want to import? area.
(Alternatively, you can select the another button that suits your unique situation.)
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page

Check the box next to Enable Junk Mail Filter.
(You can disable this via. the Junk Mail Filter settings if you choose later on, by going to the Tools menu and select Junk Mail Filter.)
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
- In the Your name field, type your name. (This will be what the recipient views when you send a message.)
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page

Select I already have an email address I'd like to use.
- In the E-mail Address field, type your full email address
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
- Click the arrow box on the My incoming mail server is.. from the pop-up selection
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
- In the Account ID field, type your full email address
- Check the box next to Save password in my Mac OS keychain, only if you wish to have your password saved.
Click the right arrow button to continue to the next page
- In the Account name field, type your full email address - (This is how you will view this mailbox in your account list.)
- Check the box next to Include this account in my Send & Receive All schedule.
- Tick the Finish button.
From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
- From the Mail tab, select your mail account in the list.
- Click the Click here for advanced sending options button.
- Check the box saying SMTP service requires secure connection (SSL)
- Check the box next to "Override Default SMTP Port:" and enter 587 in the box. (Check firewall settings if necessary to enable this port)
- Check the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.
- Check Log on using and enter your full email address and password in the appropriate fields
- Check the box next to Save password in my Mac OS keychain, only if you wish to have your password saved.
- Click OK
