Add local business listings for multiple locations to Google My Business Print

  • 1

If your business has multiple physical locations, then you can add each location as its own Google Local Listing, provided each location has its own phone number and address.

Before you start adding new locations, you should make sure that your website has a dedicated web page for each location. That page should contain the full contact details (particularly the phone number and physical address) of that listing. To help with search engine rankings, also provide an overview of the products and services available at that location. Keep in mind that this page will likely become the entry point for visitors who find your website through Google and use your business listing card's "Visit website" button, rather than the search results, so make sure this page is properly fleshed-out with great content!

Next, make sure you have a Google Account and have gone through the process of adding or claiming your first listing, as described here:

Now, you should login under the same Google Account, and make sure you are in the Google My Business section (https://business.google.com/manage/), where you should be able to see your first listing.

Click the menu in the top left and choose "Add a location". (There is also an option to import multiple locations.)

From here, go through the same "Find your business" tool that you used when adding your first listing.

When entering in the details of each new listing, keep these tips in mind:

  • You don't need to specify the location as part of the business name. Just use the business name itself
  • Each listing must have a unique phone number
  • Each listing must have a unique physical address
  • For the website field, enter the individual web page address of that particular location — not the main website's home page
  • For best results, fill out every field, including uploading a photo
